This is a gathering for those who are called to make their own sacred medicine drum. All materials are provided and you will receive hands on guidance to assist and support you in making your sacred medicine hand drum. We will be making our drums outside in a private sacred space, shaded by tall oak trees.

Those who practice Earth-based spirituality believe strongly in the medicine and wisdom that we receive from Animal Spirits. The totem of an animal aids us and teaches us lessons about life.

Space is limited to ten participants, and a registration fee of $100.00 is required to reserve your space. This reservation fee is non-refundable, and will be applied to the cost of the Playshop. Full payment of balance is due by June 15, 2025.
Terry Filer is a member of the Osage Nation. She is a musician and an artist. Terry started making Native American drums over 35 years ago and also enjoys creating other Native American art and crafts, attributing her creative ability to a long family line of artists and her Osage Tribal heritage. She is a Native American styled flute player and instructor, and is a board member for Flute Stock, which is a Native Flute Festival held annually every July in Springfield Oregon. Terry also facilitates a weekly drum circle at Inner Oasis in McMinnville Oregong. Terry has released a CD of original flute music entitled The Spirit of Enneope: Memories from the Heart.
Willow Heveron is a Priestess of Elphame and has been creating sacred space and ritual her entire life. She has devoted most of her life studying comparative religion and has traveled to sacred sites and temples around the world, most notably in Ireland, India, Thailand, and Vietnam. She is certified in Vibrational Sound Therapy and Reiki Practice, as well as a Tarot advisor and Marriage/Hand-Fasting Officiant. Willow has been making Native American styled drums the past ten years and has immersed herself in the study and skill of guiding others on Shamanic Journeys. She is a member of the drum circle that meets weekly at Inner Oasis in McMinnville Oregon, and also enjoys playing the Native American styled flute. Willow and her husband Pat live on Chehalem Mountain, located twenty-five miles southwest of Portland. Together, Willow and Pat have created a sacred sanctuary on their property fashioned for ritual and festivities they have entitled Sacred Spiral Sanctuary.
