Celebration of a life well loved

We here at Inner Oasis, and our extended community, are honored to have known Joanne Atwood and the strength, wisdom, and enveloping kindness she provided to all who entered her shop.

Joanne has been a mentor, and spiritual teacher, to many who needed guidance or comfort on their personal paths.

Her vision built Inner Oasis into a Sacred space that provides a home for the Metaphysical Wellness community.  

Joanne led a full and happy life that included Choir; playing her Native Flute and Drum; acting in theatre productions with Gallery Players; as well as facilitating the connection of our diverse metaphysical community with each other.

Before starting Inner Oasis, Joanne spent 20 years with the Department of Defense, Dependent Schools with the Federal Government, and spent her early years with ROTC Sponsors Corp, Soromia Cub, the Girls Federal Cabinet.  She was also a member of the National Honors Society.
